FAQs

Q: I've had some trouble with an order. Can you help me?

A: First of all, I'm terribly sorry for the trouble!

If you made your order through Amazon, contact their customer service.

If you made your order here on the site, let me know at once by contacting me through this handy-dandy form. Be sure to give me as much information about your order as possible, such as the order number and the date and time it was placed. If you're having trouble making a purchase from the site, let me know asap and I will make sure you're taken care of!

Q: What kinds of e-book files does your personal store provide?
A: Right now I provide .mobi (Kindle) and .epub (general e-reader) files.
Q: What are the benefits to signing up for your mailing list?

A: I offer periodic sales and coupons, as well as alerts for newly published stories. I also like to send free stories to my subscribers as a big thank-you!

And don't worry about being swamped. This list is pretty mellow--the most I publish is once or twice per month.

Q: Why are some of your stories not available on Amazon?

A: Put quite simply: Amazon has internal policies about what can and can't be posted. Where it gets awkward is that there are no black-and-white rules for erotica authors--it seems to depend on which employee is making the judgment. Thus, the only way to discover what is and isn't allowed is by getting rejected, dungeoned, or removed. This can be caused by everything from the censorship of certain words to "inappropriate" covers. If you've ever seen swathes of erotica disappear, that's probably because some internal rule changed, and it was probably done without any notification or explanation to the authors affected. Get too many red marks and you can be banned from publishing for the Kindle entirely! So you can see why I play it safe, or why some of my covers look different depending on where they are posted.

Q: If I commission a work, will you sell it?

A: Yes. Time being the tireless dictator that it is, and my inability to split into several individuals at once, mean that work that I put into a commission is NOT going into a short story to be published for the public at large. I benefit by having as much available in my Kindle store as quickly as possible!
